Message From Crossroads Pastor

Crossroads is a ministry at Rio Life Community Church which exists to serve Young Adults in our community and the Rio Grande Valley. Our desire is to see young adults experience the new life in Christ while loving the church as a whole through service and worship.

We believe worship is not merely singing on Sunday morning but far exceeds to every part of our lives. It is our hope to see God worshiped through the way we live.

Our mission statement consists of all this but for the sake of brevity and memory it is “To love God and love people”.

Most Young Adults are in a unique point in their lives when they are faced with life altering choices. It is at this point that we want to be a light pointing the God of the Bible and the one whom he has revealed the, living Jesus Christ.

Important Gatherings

Our Life Groups are a watermark of our ministry allowing us to meet frequently to study the Bible and connect on a level that sometimes is not possible on a Sunday morning.

Currently Crossroads has two life groups happening.

• Pastor Trey Galvan –Thursday nights at Trey’s house 7:00pm 604 s Illinois st. Weslaco Tx.
• Julio Trevino and Jonathan Torrez- Monday nights at Julio’s house 7:00pm Mercedes TX

Community Sunday

Every First Sunday of the month a bunch of twenty and thirty year olds get together at the Airport Dr. Park in Weslaco at 1:30 to grill and play sports. This is a great way of letting lose and seeing a more competitive side of one another.  Come hungry and ready to play!

Crossroads Celebration

Every last Tuesday night at 7pm of every month we are dedicating to get together at Rio Life Community Church 1180 S. Virginia. Come ready to worship with other believers and hear God’s word.
