What Is AWANA?
We are sure that our AWANAclub will be a place of learning and excitement that will have a positive influence on your child. AWANA is based on the scripture 2 Timothy 2:15 “Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.” Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed.
The AWANA program is divided into two age groups that range from Kindergarten through Grade 6. A typical night is divided into three parts:
1. Council Time: Children meet for singing and Bible Teaching with Life Applications.
2. Handbook Time: Children meet with their Team Leader to recite Bible verses and pass their handbook sections.
3. Game Time: Children interact in team games to enjoy friendly competition, and learn the benefits of teamwork.
Awana meets every Sunday @ 5- 6:30 p.m.
