Lead Pastor

David Gomez is not only a pastor, but also a friend and family man. He has committed his whole life to serving God with an open hand to His purpose.  His greatest passion is to proclaim God’s Word in all it’s truth and amazing grace.  He thoroughly enjoys being part of a community that is manifesting a love for God with devotion and an authentic love for people.  He feels most privileged and graced to serve the body of Christ.

Among his most popular hobbies right now are Friday nights with his family, coaching his kids sports, and being an all around sports fan.  He also loves to read, exercise, and travel to new places when he can.

Born in Weslaco, Texas in 1969, David received a BBA from The University of Texas-Pan American in 1992 and a  Masters degree in Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary in 2000.

David and his wife Irma married in 1996.  They have three children Abigail, Hannah, and Caleb.
